15K major service cost for 2016 Suzuki Vstrom 650?

Why so serious???
Hi y'all,

I recently hit 15K miles on my Strom and seems like it is time for major service (valve adjustment, air filter, oil change, and other adjustments/checks).

Was wondering what would be the fair price for this service. I know that a lot of people are doing it themselves, but I am not tech savvy nor have time/place to do it.

I was quoted $550-700 from few shops around. Not sure if its fair price. I've been told it's approx. 5 hour job.
Is it fair deal? Any recommendations for reputable shops in Bay Area to perform work?
Appreciate your help! Ride Safe!

those prices are pretty good.
500 if no valve adjustment needed
7-800 if they do.
You can save some labor costs by doing some of it yourself.
Oil/filter change is easy.
Pull all the plastics off the front, drain the coolant and pull the radiator.
Inspect and or replace the air filter and spark plugs.
The shop manual has all the inspection procedures and they're also pretty easy.
