Bike Bandit gets new costumers, $ from an order and expands costumer base ie. the point of the referral offer. Those ordering get an incentive to come back and some cash for benefiting me too. How does this make me less honorable?

Nothing is free. My point is, my 20% is far deeper then a measly $15. You are supporting a conglomerate and snuffing local mom and pops. That pace doesn't need your money as all it does is pay under paid kids who give a shit about the sport and community. Short Term gratification is nothing compared to long term commitment.

I am offering 20% not for sales, but to get folks better deals. I get 20% off my dealer price at Vortex until dec 7, so I am passing that on right to my customers. That is a huge difference than what you are doing and BB. My Incentive is to build a reputable company. If it was about sales, I would be screwing people like bike bandit does.

A word of experience: i used to race Spec-e30 (bmw). Have built and tracked a few more since. 8/10 times i used Pelican Parts. Same type of system with full blown diagrams, easy to pick and choose. The other 2/10 i went to a junkyard. Sometimes buying everything you need from one place in an organized manner is worth paying a bit more than having to go to multiple shops and have multiple shops overcharge you (first of all) then screw your order. After so many years it was very clear that going to local shops for other than brake fluid or emergency repair work was just not worth it and maaan i knew every repair race and machine shop back home. They just end up ordering from the same people and charge you more. You're passing down 20% and not benefiting just sounds like bad business to me. Good for you i honestly do hope people who need Vortex stuff order from you, but tell me you've never gone to BB even if to look at the schematics and get part #s?

6 orders from the RR forums alone, that's free for me. i'm not gonna push the issue here. Really makes no difference to my existence if you think i support local or not. Maybe not bike parts, but machine shops and restaurants. that's pretty much all i use anyways.

Never done BB, Never will. Passing savings down to customers is called Integrity, something I now believe you have no grasp of. You can justify and spin all ya want, the fact is, your using the good grace of someone else hard work to benefit yourself, that is called dishonesty and greed.

If the 20% you're passing down is all you get as vendor and nothing else from making the sale then you're a bad businessman too. That's not integrity, you may think its generosity, but the end is to plausibly get a new costumer. BB is offering to give me store credit in return for new costumers which in turn also get a discount and THEN i'm giving them half my store credit ontop. *I* am being generous! Same thing, the only difference is that i'm not a business nor looking to establish one.

If anything i'm helping the community to take advantage of BB, the conglomerate you hate so much so join me. wow..
