14 R1 Secure Passenger Helmet While Riding?

Has anybody makeshifted a helmet holder to secure when riding (say, when you are going to pick up a passenger)?

I see the rear seat has a hook for securing your helmet while its parked, but how about when riding?...and I read that there are plastic tabs under the seat can be used to secure helmets, but not while riding (Yamaha says so with a big warning symbol), funny thing is the plastic tabs under the seat look like they need to be snipped so I can get the D-ring around it. weird.

any creative, safe, and secure ways in mind to secure the breezy helmet? (in my case the wifes helmet).

thanks.

1. Remove left passenger peg assembly.
2. Remove right passenger peg assembly.
3. Replace passenger seat w/solo cowling (oem fits better than the cheap Chinese crap).
4. Leave spare bits at home with other helmet.
5. ???

6. PROFIT.
