I installed the KTM supplied Akrapovic Evolution System KTM 1290 and removed the SAS. The KTM system did not come with the correct canister dongle for my bike for some strange reason. The supplied dongle did not fit. At the same time I installed a used PCV from a guy who was selling parts off his bike. It came with the original the bill of sale and was a PCV map for a 1290 with a Sparks can, decibel killer removed. I rode the bike which performed well but expectedly, threw an engine light. I got I ordered the correct dongle from Rottweiler and installed what Dynojet told me was the correct full Akra map. After installing the last dongle from Rottweiler it still throws that light.:(

Problem solved. The engine light originates from the O2 sensors. The used PCV I bought came without the dongles for the sensors. I’ve got two 02 dongles on order from Rottweiler.

and know the pc o2 sensors are different size from oem ktm, requires new bungs to be welded to exhaust.

I removed and plugged the sensors. Rottweiler 02 dongles installed and it still throws a light. At this point I need an independent tech to sort this out. Somewhere it's picking up a fueling reading that's not coming from the exhaust.
