Well boys and girls, it has been a glorious 10 years, and the SF meet seems to be the only regular meet still going strong from the beginning days of BARF.

The first official SF meet can be traced back to Wed, May 22, 2002.
I was there, and can't wait to celebrate its 10th year on Wed, Wednesday, MAY 23, 2012, 6:00 p.m. til whenever.

In celebration, we will be taking over Family Billiards again, right next door to the P-Dub. Those that want to do trivia, can make their way next door to participate. Family Billiards is located at 2807 Geary Boulevard, in San Francisco.

For us, Family is cancelling their Wed night tournament on this date and making the place exclusive to us from 6-10 or so. Depending on projected turnout we may either do some catering, or just go straight off the menu. I believe they will offer us happy hour pricing on all draft beers for the duration of the event ($2.50 pints), but this still needs confirmation. You must be present to win. Also, we will probably do group photo like the old days, and you can count on that happening around 8:00 p.m., and again at 9:00 p.m. when we're properly sauced. As always, drink responsibly if you are going to drink.

Additionally, we will have some swag to give away through a free raffle. Every attendant to the main event will receive a free raffle ticket. In recognition of the SF meet and its regulars, anyone who attends the SF meets from yesterday until the actual event, will receive an additional ticket each time they show up to an SF meet.

The first item on the list of giveaways is a certificate good for any PTT trackday left on the 2012 calendar.

Even without the swag, I hope that you will all make an effort to come out to celebrate the SF BARF meet's 10th Anniversary. This little shindig is just a prelude to the big BARF BASH in the works for later in the year.
