03/31/12 SF Meet to celebrate the life of Mark PitHo lawrence

April 15th is the "official" send off event for Mark at Fred's. Tonight, we will be remembering him with good times and good friends at Speakeasy Brewery is SF. I plan on being there around 6 and if we have the energy, to adjourn to the Library at 9 to continue the celebration of Mark's life.

I will try to swing by Bud's and get the BARF books to add another chapter to Mark's baby.

Hey Shawn. hate to be a bummer, but there is a show on Saturday nights, and there is usually a $5 cover. If you know how many people might be swinging through, I'll see about getting you guys all in. Keeping in mind, though, that rock and roll will ensue at about 10:30pm or so...

Good shit Rick. I'm gonna bring the books to the SF meets until the 15th if I am able, or if you are able, so let's work it out. I'm not sure about pics, since I was pretty plastered. But at least I stayed awake.

I miss Mark, he really dug that I raced AFM on a Bultaco and got third overall on a 20 year old bike racing formula 4 in 1991. we shared stories and good times 'till his illness, I never knew his affiliation with BARF until after his passing. God Speed !
