I guess we are jus brought up different. Where i come from, at the end of the day, a motherfucker only has two things in this world. His nutts and his fuckin word.
Im not knockin budman at all. Im not knockin him chasin a dollar bill. Fuck, for all we know, the offer he accepted could be substantial enough to keep him and his family happy n comfortable for a very long time. And im definitely very grateful he created this place n allowed me to experience it.
However, wether youre the creator of the titanic, or jus simply the man at the helm, it aibt jus him on this ship.

Tim didn't do anything wrong here. If they didn't want the cat out of the bag, they'd have deleted this thread straight away. It's a little science experiment and Tim is now the scapegoat while some folks sit back and examine the reaction. Somebody accidentally reveals the new iPhone, gets fired for it, then all the ensuing drama drums up hype for the new iPhone.

Shit I guessed it on post #2. I saw it coming the minute Budman started that other thread. I'm glad he sold it. He deserves to get paid and retire so he can enjoy life with his family. When I read budmans title, what I saw was..."I'm thinking about this deal and this is the best way to test the water without jumping in and finding out it was gas." I think he got enough support from the "Yays" to offset the "Nays". Could you imagine the flame fest if he had just said "I'm gonna sell but do you think this is enough?" Maybe he's gonna use the money to run for governor of ca so he can make all the laws we need to enjoy riding for a long time to come.
Enchanter knows how I feel about him because I told him along time ago that I think he's great. Shit I dont care if it is sold but I hope Tim stays. It can't change that much unless we the people start acting/ posting different.

Well, if it's over, it was a good run.
Everyone I know in the Bay Area is because of barf.
I've been hanging around here for more than 10 years, and barf has provided me with some great laughs, and some good friends, and way too many tears.
Most of us that hang out regularly don't really need barf to necessitate social gatherings and such, but I'll be sad if it ends.
Dennis...do what you've got to do.
And Tim...good luck in your next high paying moderator position wherever that may be.
