Yeah, the other thread says its going to be on the old Current News channel which is not the case according to the Cycle News posting Zerox linked. Maybe a mod could merge these threads?

Awesome. AJ has been on a talent buying spree, snapping up a lot of great staff from BBC and elsewhere, should make for great coverage!

In hopes that Current TV might actually have the races this weekend, I checked the entire schedule for Feb 22-24 and there is nothing at all resembling a race on that channel. :(

Any ideas of what other names the Al Jazeera Sports Channel might go by?

Very nice piece on Isle of Man - thanks for posting. Have you managed to see this? http://www.tt3dmovie.com/ It was being advertised when I was in London last year and I've been wanting to see it since. Unfortunately, it looks like DVD is non-US formats only. :(

If you browse the net for a torrent you will find it. At least, thats how I was able to watch it. Damn DVD region locks and shit.

The post on Cycle News has been updated and it looks like streaming might be a possibility. Lots of confusion.

"Superbike is only confirmed to be available streaming live online through the beIN SPORT website," the spokesperson wrote, adding that a decision on televising it would be made Wednesday, February 20.

Man it would be awesome for them to offer live streaming, but how can they do that for free? Although sometimes other sporting events are free, like college football when LSU played Alabama this year.

While this did surprise me, it really shouldn't have, given that Al Jazeera is based in Qatar which, of course, not only hosts MotoGP and WSB,K but also pays for both series' air freight FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON.
