zrx 1200r bogging down after 3k (carbed)

Whats in a title?
A 2001 Kawasaki zrx1200r was sitting for a while will start but won't rev past 3k-4k. When i try to rev it past 3k or above, it boggs down and wants to die.

So it starts right up easily?
It just won't rev higher than 3 - 4K? Right away or when fully warm?
If no trouble starting the bike, and idling, I doubt your mains plugged up before your pilots. Who knows? it's possible, but seems unlikely. How long did it sit for? Additives like Stabil in the fuel?
Don't rule out a bad spark plug wire or connections. How many miles? Ever changed out the spark plug wires?

Sounds like skanked mains. Check the entire fuel system, starting at the tank. Also- the rubber pieces inside the petcock can degrade and cause problems after sitting a while.

Yah, the pilots will plug first and I suspect they ( or 1-2 of them) are gunked up.
