If the lens is plastic, it's likely due to exposure from the sun and the elements. If that's the case, there's no cure except replacement because the lens material itself has discolored. It happens.

If it was tinted, you might have a chance of taking the tint off, but again, if it's plastic, you might be out of luck.

If it's tinted glass, then I would imagine it can be cleaned up somehow.

If the yellowing is on the surface of the lens, then that product might work. Otherwise, forget it. GlassyLite is just some fine sandpaper, a oxide buffing compound, and a nano based sealant/protectant. If the lens material itself is yellowed, it won't do anything.

You can get plastic polish at Tap Plastics as well.

Remember, "fine" sand paper is in the 2000+ grit range. You can get up to 3000 grit wet or dry paper at OSH.

even if it just SUCKS,.....it's only 10 bucks, and I bet it works really well.

never tried it, but am seriously considering it for older vintage plexi windscreens.

actually they (autobody supply or TCP global) sell paper for super fine polishing that's 4000 grit,..and even down to "15 micron grit",...which looks like a microfiber towel glued to a D/A backing sheet,...on a super fine throw D/A (like my 3/16" throw DYNABRADE) it'll polish like a mirror with just tap water,...or use a micro-grit polishing compound for a ridiculous shine.
