For me it's like a childhood dream come true. As a kid I rode my Mongoose/PK Ripper from morning till dark, the whole time wishing, pretending, aching for THAT EXACT BIKE.

I'm very much considering building one, if only to realize my childhood dream. How often do you get to do that? I'll start with the frame and use Craig's for the rest. There are tons of Sick50 type pitblkes out there sitting around because ultimately they came up way short on useable. I might be wrong, but I imagine there are lots of downhill guys that would love to upgrade their front ends. I think $2300 to $2500 would get a decent result, we will see. I have some homework to do...

Oh yea, I just found out that " Mr Sick50" is a neighbor, I think he would be a great resourse for motors, parts and the like!

it seems the Kickstarter is for the production run and is cheaper than the prototype. but u can still buy it now i guess.

looks fun, but def not worth the price. how much do DH forks run?

no set yet, I went through kick starter they have until Sep to fund, i will then probably have the option to back out or wait until they fund. this project will fund eventually prob not in Sept though. I'm gonna wait until they fund before i start sourcing motor and other MB parts. def gona pt the 140cc Chinese motor in. can't wait.
