Basically I am spoiled and my GF said she is going to purchase me a riding lessons/track day. (I swear I ride safe with her on the back :twofinger) We are thinking about doing it at CSS (http://www.superbikeschool.com/). This shcool is very highly reccomended by a friend but I am looking for your opinions on schools.

Looking for a local track (near bay area), personalized coaching, and near the same price range as CSS $700 for their bike.

Z2trackdays Novice School (C-group) includes group classroom sessions and one-on-one on track instruction for the cost of a normal track day at our local tracks. If you arent comfortable using your own bike, you can rent one from Feel Like a Pro.

K@TT 5 pack which can be applied to do their school dates is the best deal (IMO) for a class environment. That said, I'm also looking to try out CSS this year. Heard a lot of good things about it.

The difference might be that they're more drill oriented than other schools which let you circle the track with instructors following / critiquing you.

You can't go wrong with Star School or CSS or ANY of the local providers.

If you are set on riding their bike then CSS is the bees knees
