I have a very clean 08 wr250x with just over 11500 miles. Bike was just recently installed with a turbo. This bike makes 40 hp at the rear wheel!
Also has a fmf exhaust installed
You wont find another bike like this on craigslist.

better make more than 40 hp at the tire.....my stock KTM 250F did 37 at the back tire.

it should sound cool and be interesting though. you should get a big tank and tune it to run on E-85. your motor would last much longer, and you could make much more power with better response. E-85 is better than race gas in boosted high compression applications.

She's almost done. I'm making the last of the wiring all pretty-like then taking it to Evolution for a tune.

The problem I had (the problem worth mentioning) was trying to get the PCV to work with a PCIII map setup. Thankfully, there was another tuner on the east coast that had done the swap and provided information.

Sweet buildup. Where does one find a turbo kit for a thumper motor? I've heard that thumper motors are tricky to tune with a turbo because of the exhaust pulses don't spin the turbo consistently.
