I'm sure you've all seen this bike at one point or another. The beautifully crafted MV-SV650 . Several years ago it was purchased by a co-worker of mine, who then moved to So-Cal and sold it to another coworker of mine. He wasn't sure why he bought it and it has just been garaged for a couple years now. It's taking up valuable real estate in my garage now and I'd like to move it onto its next home.
The internet is full of information on the history of the bike. It is truly incredibly done. No short cuts and great fit and finish throughout.
That being said, she is showing her age a little bit and could use some love. I rebuilt the carbs a couple months ago and she fired right up. At this point I did notice that the tach doesn't seem to be functioning but the cluster lights up fine. There is minor corrosion here and there, a tiny nick in the seat, and the windscreen has a piece missing out of the top of it. The tires are dry rotted and desperately need to be replaced along with the chain. I'm not sure on the actual mileage given it has a 2nd gen cluster on it. Overall it's still in excellent shape and a day of tinkering and some elbow grease and she could be close to her former glory. The parts on this bike alone make it worth picking up. Especially those ultra sexy Dymag magnesium wheels.
Happy to take more detailed pictures for interested parties. I'm located in South San Jose, 95136 area code. Clean title in hand, and reg is current with no fees.
Listing this at $3500
