Simple, easy installation that completely eliminates the OEM ignition switch assembly in minutes. There’s no need to solder, cut or otherwise permanently modify the OEM wire harness in order to have a fully-functional on/off switch for your bike. That is to say, the kill switch will then become your on/off switch.
A particular advantage of removing the ignition switch assembly, aside from the significant weight savings, is that you won’t have to worry about losing your key every again. There’s probably one or two of you reading this who’ve made the (usually not short) trip to the track only to find that the key you need isn’t with you! Or worse yet, the key may become damaged in the event of a crash, rendering the ignition difficult or impossible to use and ending your fun for the day.
About the only thing you’ll need to do in order to fit this on your bike is drill the ignition switch mounting studs out – but other than that, just plug it in and your bike is ready for the track!
Each kit comes with everything you need to remove the stock ignition switch along with a complete set of easy-to-understand instructions. Of course, in the event you want to sell the bike later or convert it to street use, you can easily put everything back to stock configuration to do so.
