Hi all,

I am located in Berkeley and I used to go riding at carnegie with street legal motorcycle, but i am tired of always riding the same trails.
Do you know any trails not further than 50 miles for Berkley?

Thanks

Carnegie, Metcalf, and Frank Raines are closest, Hollister further than your distance radius unless you want to ride motocross track. There arent any other legal or public riding areas. No "secret" trails I am aware of.

Lots of good stuff on the other side of the Central Valley, but that's at least 100 miles. Mammoth Bar, Rock Creek (Georgetown), and Foresthill all have good single track that is rated. Be aware that Mammoth Bar, at least, is more difficult than Carnegie for the same rating.

Waaay out on Del Puerto Canyon Rd is Frank Raines off road area. Pretty rocky. Lots of hills but relatively unknown. Brutally hot in summer

I've found Frank Raines OHV park to be either beginner friendly or expert riding with not much in between. And they're closed a lot.

Welcome to Barf, let's see your 701. I have the same bike. Not sure of the riding up there. I'm below the bay area and still have to ride a ways for some good dirt. Other than Hollister hills is right here
