What to do with read bike mags

I have about 80 magazines, Bike mag and Fast Bikes going back to 2007 and up to lasts months FB. Clearing out and wondered if there’s anywhere that could use them. What do y’all do with old magazines. Just throw them out?
Thought about wallpapering the bathroom with them, but that’s not happening apparently.

Just keep them in a box. Not as much with bike mags but a lot of friends have been featured in old car mags. So keep them for souvenir purposes.

Also random discussions with friends like, "remember [insert bike/car here]?" Back from the older days before everything could be googled.

My old stuff has been purged long ago, current stuff gets purged more frequently in the recycler bin.

If space is an issue, sure. If a small box to put somewhere in the garage isn't much of an issue, maybe don't get rid of them yet.

I kept old car and big magazines and books for years and decided I didn’t want dragging them around with me when I’d move so threw them out. Neighbour took some. Don’t miss them.

I still have Playboy mags from the eighties. Thay rock. Steve Martin, Bruce Jenner.

My dad had one with a Timothy Leary interview. I have one with a Anita Bryant interview. Brilliant.

Some of the kids have no idea of which what post. Good stuff.

Many smiles.

This is a clear and zero question PIIDB situation.

Not all stuff that was cool in its day is still cool now. Who’s gonna want to read 30 year old magazines.

For a while now been look at my old CD’s taking up space and thinking I should just toss them.

I also have Hot Rod and Car Craft mags that go back decades. I purged a lot of other car mags a few years ago. I should just purge the rest. I hate hoarding.

I kept the mags thinking I’d re-read them sometime, but it never happened. I’ve got a bunch of cds and cassette tapes too but I can find any of that stuff on YT if if wanted to listen to it.

90% of a magazine is advertising. if you consider that, tossing them is much much easier. i schlepped around a conisderable pile of marque specific magazines for a car i'd likely never own and finally tossed them ~10 years ago. don't miss them one tiny little bit.

also unless you've cataloged every article in those old rags, it'll take you FOREVER to even find the article you thought you read but was probably in an entirely different location and about a different subject. memory is weird like that

Yeah, I was thinking that if a year of lockdown didn’t get me to look at them again, they’re probably just trash taking up space. Not easy to see them as that I guess as I still get excited when the next one arrives in the mail.

If you're talking about Rolling Stone then yeah ever other page is an ad.

I had milk cartons full from a decade of Motorcyclist, Cycle World, Cycle, Road & Track plus a few others. They had a ton of content and not too annoying with ads. Felt like I was throwing away my youth when I tossed them but they had to go.
