It's clear coated on there, not coming off.
Luckily it's small and hard to notice unless you look closely.

clear coat makes an excellent surface to paint over, or vinyl

Funny peoples.

It's small and barely noticeable unless you lean in close to examine it.
Covering it would look ghetto, and Honda plastics would mean I'd have to replace the valves every, what is it, 20 hours?
