Also, a certificate doesn't make the data you post secure, it makes your user name/password and login cookies secure.
On that note, I suggest whatever password you're using here you don't re-use on another web site. Just in case.

But still, it would be nice to have https back.
Not a big deal either way. HTTPS means your sessions are encrypted, so snooping in transit will be difficult or impossible. On the other hand it comes with some overhead, and there's not much here of interest to the NSA.
