Panoche Hills, green and inviting, signs that say no motorcycles. Thinking they mean off road bikes only but I am greatly mistaken.

Read the Vehicle Usage line :wtf

Merely Rhetorical
Maybe there is a good reason, but I'm not quite seeing it now. Perhaps these banned vehicles have generally demonstrated increased damage to the lands or safety concerns because of how/where they are ridden.
wasn't there a town in Texas that banned pickups?

IDK anything about these areas :)gsxrgrl), and try to keep their names out of my
mouth on the internet ... :thumbup

Here is a fascinating thread on ADVrider that's interesting to
wade through ... sometimes it's good to stop asking the
question once you get the answer you want ... :laughing

... cut to the chase:
Panoche/Tumey Hills - before April 15th

... these parcels of BLM land are just non-sense re: plated-moto access if you
stay on the established roads ...

Clear Creek simply blows my mind ...
60,000 acres of OHV land and county roads
put behind locked gates by the BLM ...
that's the real fight, IMO ...
cannot understand why a
historic National Enduro and/or the AMA can't have/have not sued ...
must be issues I don't understand ... :dunno

... they know how to keep vehicles out of BLM land by
putting up locked gates ... I'm closer to the end of my riding
career than the beginning ... ride while you can! :party

We need to revive the fight for Clear Creek. Sam Farr has a wallowing CC Recreation Area bill in Congress.
