Wayne Rainey rides again <3

Wayne never stopped going fast. I see him all the time at Laguna, he did carts. Honestly, I would like to see him and Schwantz out on the track again.

Awesome!

I remember when he had his bad crash. It was such a stunning blow to motorcycle racing, in an instant going from the very best racer in the world to a paraplegic and everything that entails.

Absolutely heart-warming to see him get back on the bike and see the joy in his eyes from the experience.

This rules. Speed doesn't leave people like him, even in his karting days he was blazing. Glad he's able to rip it up on 2 wheels again.

On a related note, if u haven't heard, Mert Lawill does some great prosthetic work for the disabled.

Awesome
Must see the video when he does Suzuka. I remember watching him slide both tires through the corkscrew during practice in '91.

That man was a god to me before his accident and became a bigger one in the years that followed.
I am simply in awe.

Not as fast as I look.
This was an astonishing nice guy when he raced and is an astonishing nice guy after his horrendous accident. Think about how Kenny R. and Wayne R. were so powerful in world racing. It was like "California Dreamin' on Castor Oil".

I am truly thrilled to see him do this after 26 years. :thumbup

I came here to post this. I was an Eddie Lawson fan back then and Wayne was the man, no doubt about it. Great to see him back on a bike and with that smile on his face after.
