hey folks the vesrah suzuki team is looking for a cook/caterer (sp?) for this weekends ama race @ sears point and i thought i'd ask here before i start yelping & calling around. we're looking for someone for friday, saturday & sunday. fri & sat would be 3 meals for 20~30 people & sun just breakfast & lunch. we've got storage space & frig, etc.. but you'd need to bring a grill & some pots & pans etc. if this sounds like something you'd like to do or know someone who could please pm me. the team will purchase your pass/tickets & give you some shirts & you can work out payment with the team manager. thanks :thumbup

Is BeemerChef in the area this time of year? I doubt he would have the grill, but I'd you're looking for a beast of a chef and a fellow motorcyclist at that, it may be worth a try.

I can make a mean pancake. Just sayin.
but what would we eat after breakfast? :teeth

it should actually be a pretty easy gig for someone who knows whats up with them foodses. @ the last event it went like this breakfast fruit, hot/cold cereal, bacon, eggs, yogurt. lunch was sandwiches, chips, burgers. dinner was meat, veg, pastas, salad. basically the standard protein, starch, veg set up. obviously they'll be some clean up involved, but you'll also get to watch the races.

How big is the crew? Would the cook be feeding the riders as well, and are any special diets involved?

If you can't find anyone let me know and I can dig through my contacts list.

the guy I used for the Renner tour is top notch and prices weren't too bad.

I would prefer this to go to a Barfer though ;)
