Join the Vampires Motorcycle Club THIS SUNDAY for our annual Day of the Dead Ride.

This is our yearly tribute to our fallen brothers and sisters on two wheels, with a traditional Day of the Dead shrine set up at the end of the ride. We encourage those who have lost someone to carry a photo along for the ride to place on the shrine.

As with all Vampires MC events, Day of the Dead is FREE. The ride will end with a barbecue, with free food, drink and ride games for your entertainment. All types of bikes and riders and enthusiasts to our sport are welcome at our events.

Considering this has been a year of huge losses to the bay area motorcycling community, we welcome you to come join us in remembrance and mutual respect.

The ride leaves from Cafe Pergolesi at 10am.

Gotta question the timing givin all the rips lately...

This event has been held on the first Sunday of November for as long as I have been aware of it. It exists so we can pay respect to those we love who are no longer with us.
So did you read the actual text in the first post or just the subject line?

15 years running for the Vampires hosting Day of the Dead now.

That's 15 years we as a club have been hosting an event where the motorcycling community gathers together and hoists a glass in memory of all our friends and family who did not finish the journey home.

Lots of names have passed over my lips in my 9 years with the club, and lots more will in the many years down the road. No individual is truly gone if they are remembered by those who who live on with their memory.

The Vampires will never forget the fallen. We will always keep them alive in our hearts and minds and celebrate their lives during Day of the Dead.

My Uncle rides with me, at least in spirit... every Day of the Dead.

Ive seen posts from the Vampires for years now on this ride. I dont post much , but Ive been around since BARF and many other forums started. There will always be R.I.P threads and there will always be groups who ride to pay their respects.

I wouldnt see a problem if there was a memorial ride every weekend. Once someones gone, they are gone, but NEVER forgotten.
