Track Question.

Which of the following tracks would you guys say is more n00b friendly? T-Hil or Infenion?

I have about 5 years of riding experience but have not been on a bike for last 2 years. Solid believer of "No more street riding" as promised to wifey so I bought a track bike from another Barf member who's an AFM racer. Finally ready to take the bike out for a spin, will be my first trackday in 2 years, thought I'd ask Barfers for guidance. Please keep in mind that I have been a B pace rider most of my life and have only been to ThunderHill & Streets of Willow previously.

Most consider Thunderhill much more friendly. And especially considering you've been there before, it should come back to you a bit faster :thumbup

Grab the Transmogrifier!
T2,T6,T9, and sometimes T11 and T1 at Infineon will bite you in the a$$. Other than that it's pretty tame. Go to T-Hill for your first time.

Hate the new t1 at infinion. Mostly because I have no clue how to go threw it fast. oh and it is only like 5 feet wide

It's fifteen or twenty feet wide, the line you take makes it appear five feet wide.

Thunderhill for first trackday.

As pretty new to the track I'd agree that Thill is way better. Much easier to fugure out and more forgiving of mistakes. Too bad there are hardly any track days left there this year.

:p funny I followed you threw there on the morning laps last month :twofinger. I just don't know what to do going into there. Jumping the curb is fun:party.

Don't worry about it. Hit your turn point and turn in, apex on the concrete bump and go. It's a fast corner.

It's just like riding a bicycle. When getting back on a bicycle, it's easiest to get back on the same one you previously rode instead of getting on a completely new one.

Enjoy T-Hill. See you at Infinieon some time down the calendar (it's a fun track, honest).
