Track day AP? If so, which one?

Getting Older and Faster
Hello BARFer's

Are you using an AP (iphone or other) as a track day tool? A have read about a couple that give you individual corner speed and section time. Sounds cool but does it really work?

What’s been your experience (with the ap, not the other)?

Thanks for your input!

i dont have any perosnal experience but i know a bunch of people do. The pirelli app seems to be cool, and i think there are others.

i just downloaded the pirelli app and plan to try it on my next track day. Of course, I have to heal up and get back on a bike first :laughing. will let you know....

I was also investigating some real laptimer options...but these do cost you in the hundreds. We'll see. bottomline, if I'm going to spend money to go to the track, I need at least basic lap times (if not more detailed data) to make sure I can see what effect my experiment are having, so that I can improve. Hopefully, a free iPhone app is all i need.... we'll see.
