Tool Mart in Daly City

This is a plug for my favorite tool shop in the Bay Area. If you're lucky enough to know the place and the lady :love who runs it, you don't need to hear how she always has every tool you ever need and will order it for you if it's not in stock at the moment, or how when you walk in asking for something she's already handing it to you before you finish describing it.

Between Amazon :thumbdown and COVID, business isn't so great. I'm getting kind of worried they won't be there much longer. So if you are looking for something, consider buying local from her shop :thumbup

I’ll have to stop by soon. I haven’t been there in a while. I can always use more tools

Yep, that was where I picked up either a 56mm or 65mm socket in order to remove the rear wheel of my ducati. Prices are great and was just a few blocks from home too. While you're there, pick up some bbq chicken from Fil-Am around the corner. Damn I miss living in Daly City.

Yummiest charred meats ever and the pancit! If you forget where it is you just have to follow your nose. I know what we're having tonight

Thanks for posting Lucy. I wish times didnt suck right now for everyone.
Maybe this will wake up the barfers into getting out and helping her out.

Daly city .... brings back Matthews commercials on the radio.
Showing my age for sure!

Good to support local shops. :thumbup Lucy
Never heard of them or been there, but I'll ride over and get some stuff. You can never have too many tools..

Totally forgot about this place. Went there years ago to pick up some 3/8" ball end hex sockets.

Will have to stop by to see if she has a 46mm socket.

Thanks Lucy!

I'm guessing you're working on a BMW? I recently needed one of those for replacing the failed rear bearing on my bike. Hope they have it in stock. I went around 3-4 different shops looking for one, before having to resort to Amazon for mine. Good luck finding one!

Went to the shop a couple weeks ago and although she did not have a 46mm socket in 1/2" drive she did have one in 3/4" and I have an adapter so all good there. I know I can find them cheaper online, and I have, but I want to support a local shop and it is always fun talking to a super knowledgeable and super nice lady!
