Till next time.

Greenhorn

Stay Present
Riding have been one of the most therapeutic things that I have done in my short existence. It give me an excuse to leave civilization and explore our great state (if even it's only for a few hours).

But life doesn't always go the way you plan. Life often challenge in ways you least expect.

It is time for me to stop riding. Thank you for the good times.

Till we meet again.

I stopped riding from the age of 18 until the age of 30; not that unusual to take some major time off.

I've owned 8 bikes since I jumped back into it in 1986.

You'll be back.

I had no desire to ride at all until I got my first bike at 54. I fell in love with riding, although 90% of my riding was commuting rather than pleasure riding (although ANY riding can be called pleasure riding!). But after a few years my wife had a knee replaced, and other health issues, that prevented her from being comfortable as a passenger. So a few years ago we replaced a nice cruiser with a sidecar rig and fell in love with riding all over again! Now we're waiting for our grandson to get a bit bigger (he just turned 2) to introduce him to the sidecar - he already spends a lot of time in the garage sitting in it.

It's a personal decision to give up riding - as others have said; once bitten it's hard to get the serum out of your blood!

Good luck with the challenges Greenhorn.

Hope you'll be riding again sometime, should you so desire.

It's better to have ridden and stopped, than never to have ridden at all :).
