They start to pull over and I pass while they are still in lane

Up Silverado Trail a lot of people are pretty cool about pulling over to let a motorcycle by. They don't officially pull over and slow they just ride the bike lane. Is that considered lane sharing?

dunno the cop opinion, but my dad got tagged on his bike when riding through marin. the car pulled over partially to an actuall pull out. However, they didn't fully stop, and go fully on to the shoulder, he went around, but had to cross the double yellow to get around safely (contradiction? :teeth)... There was a cop coming around the other bend, and tagged him. He tried to fight it as equal protection under the law, and that cars break the double yellow all the time to go around bicycles. Judge said no way man.

If a car (or other vehicle) yields enough of the left portion of the lane that you can pass safely and w/o crossing the double yellow lines, you should be okay.
