At first I was thinking "sweet BNG", since the outside looks basically the same. Then I saw the inside! Nice!!

When I went from my Model 3 to the first time in a Model S, I was shocked at how over complicated the cockpit was. Way too many buttons - clearly they have learned from the Model 3 design success how to revise the model S/X.

Now make it look better outside..?

I'm excited about "Plaid Drivetrain". More of a refresh then "brand new". I like the simplified interior and chrome delete. Yoke style steering wheel is bold. Hope for low # turns from lock to lock for proper ID.

Steering will have to be dynamic.. will have to try it before making judgement.

Overall it's a good update. Not enough for me to update my MS though. But I like how MS is more of an actual luxury car now.

Still blows legacy auto out of the water.

Great, an "autonomous cocoon" for people too absorbed in themselves they can't be bothered to actually drive, turn their heads to look out the windows or use the review mirrors / camera. Oh, and of course this "autonomous cocoon"
will "see" a motorcycle and prohibit the stupid F-ing non-driver from making an illegal turn/maneuver into the motorcycle.

Sorry, that tech has a long ways to go!

They're anticipating deleting it entirely. Similar to a physical key hidden the RF dongle fob, there will be a vestigial manual control in the event that the virtual one fails. Itll probably be a rectal interface

Nice looking car. Interior looks good except for being white. Id never buy a white interior.
Don’t know about the steering wheel. Flat top might be comfortable for resting your hand on long drives.

I immediately thought of KITT when I saw the “wheel” but I don’t think I’d miss the top. My lazy cruise hand position is usually at 5 o’clock. Might be missing the top for tight parking lot hand over hand moves though.
