Distanzias...reasonable dry 90/10 tire.
Ice skates in the rain, which, depending on the rider is fun or dangerous.
:laughing

I don't know what tires he's running but they are not Distanzias.
Plus I found the Avons to be the best cold/wet weather tire I've had on my two DRZ's.
I've done plenty "True Grit" rides on them I can say that confidently. The supermoto version does great in the wet.
I don't like them because they are very heavy and that makes a noticeable difference in handling on a DRZ, but they are the best alternative for riding both dirt and street and lasting long [compared to the alternatives]

Btw this pictures make me miss Bay Area and my DRZ :(

Rolls with it...
Not sure Pat's gonna answer the tire question til later, the Duke needs to be ridden today... :laughing

Thats a very polite way of putting it. IMO and I've tried a lot of thsoe types of tires they're garbage in the dry as well.

I did love the ice skates though. Ridiculous amount of fun with almost no speed involved.

Never had a grip problem in the dry on pavement , have touched peg to ground with them. Now in the dirt probably barely better than a regular street tire.
