Recedite, plebes!
Came across this nice Suzuki RE5 (Wankel) sitting in the Dublin Mazda dealership. I believe it's a '75.

I once heard the RE5 described as the “Weird Harold” of motorcycles. Still chuckle when I see one. Cool bikes, but yeah...odd. I know that the Nortons of yore were spectacular and wonder why the Wankel was never further developed in motorcycling.

Been there, done that
It's a '76. You can tell by the conventional gauges; the '75 had a gauge "pod".

These aren't bad to ride, but they're relatively slow, they suck gas, and they put out a LOT of heat. Props to Suzuki for trying something unorthodox, though.

Yeah, this is only the second one I've seen.
Ha, got to be way easier to "kick over" than a 441 Victor. :laughing

I remember the brand new, first year, sitting on show room floor @ Martin's cycle in Fairfield.

Yeah, we had one in our shop with the Rolodex gauges on it. Weird.
