give the article a read. its interesting. i wonder, like syria, as these laces simply become less usable for human life, where these people will go.

Sudan's temperature is expected to increase significantly. By 2060, it's projected to rise between 1.1 °C and 3.1 °C.
As a result of hotter climate and erratic rainfall, much of Sudan has become progressively unsuitable for agriculture and villages.
Irregular rain has ruined crops and the country is experiencing both droughts and floods -- making arable land unsuitable for cultivation and displacing more than 600,000 people due to flood-related disasters since 2013, according to the Internal Displacement Monitoring Center (IDMC).

There is no such thing as climate change!
In another month, the head of the EPA is going to straighten out America about this.

Now, if you're going to be a citizen of this country under the new regime, you're going to have to get your flawed perceptions fixed. I suggest 4 hours of fox news a day, and tune into Rush Limbaugh radio during commute and after a couple months you'll be cured of those illusions. :twofinger

Remember that two Israel/Arab wars have already been fought in part over water and access to the Jordan River and springs. Fifty years ago.

You should see how much the Dead Sea has been receding. 1 - 2 meters per year I was told.

Pretty obvious too from my visit there, but Head Cheeto says it is a hoax. :dunno

I liken this to the Syrian refugee/migration problem. Geopolitics aside, we are legit witnessing drastic global climate change indirectly kill people.

Climate change is a big problem.

One way to combat it is population reduction. US foreign policy should be directed towards discouraging reproduction.

US domestic policy should be directed towards reduced consumption in all areas and a reduction of fossil fuels to nominal levels.

But how will they be able to make the feels commercials to feed the starving kids in Africa if they don't keep having 6-9 kids?

With more than half a million civilians dead in Iraq and Afghanistan, we have done more than our fair share of reducing the world's population problem. Now it is Russia's turn. It still has 400k more Syrians to kill but it is going at a faster clip.
