I put on ad on Craigslist and was contacted by a guy calling himself Bobby. I brought it to him in Oakland to check out at the Bank Of America on International. I let him start it but I told him not to ride it because it currently has a sand wheel and that would just be crazy on the street. He drops the clutch and takes off never to be seen again. Police report was filed. He had used a throw away phone number and a one-time email. He was an Black male with a pink/orange plaid shirt with dark slacks and brown shoes. He was about 6'1" 175lbs with a short haircut and healing large scars on his hands/thumbs.

The bike was a white/red CRF450r with graphics kit. The race plates have #730 and the rear tire was a sand paddle. Police report has been filed. Just gotta wait now. Any information leading to the apprehension of the suspect or return of the bike will get you $1000. Thank you guys for all your extra sets of eyes.

When in doubt gas it!
Ok first I'm totally sorry you got ripped off that sucks slime balls really deserve to be shot, but come on dude International blvd in Oakland that's like almost as bad as it gets that goes thru all the hoods in Oak town. I know we should be able to show and sell our bikes with confidence wherever we go but that's not the reality. Lesson hard learned by all, never let a test ride happen with out the cash in hand and never meet/show the bike at a location set by the buyer and use the buddy system two is safer then one. Well look at the brite side you didn't get jumped or beat down. So sorry bro, good luck.

"i wanna go fast"
wow what a story... that guy was definitely ready for this thing and probably had a few friends around the corner waiting with a trailer or garage...

good luck tracing this down. I guess that's one step before cash in hand for test rides. Hope the police finds this guy and nails his ***!

And yeah i'm sure this guy and location raised a few flags on your end. More careful next time. Good luck.
