UPDATE 1:
Although this didn't get much interest, the bike was found Wednesday around 2pm in Oakland. I don't know the exact place but all I know if that it is damaged and they have someone in custody. I'm picking it up tomorrow but I was wondering if any would be able to find the police communication in it?

UPDATE 2:
So here is an update. I went to the impound lot and got to finally see the damage. I am not sure how bad it is under the fairings but my cage/sliders worked quit well considering. I am not sure how, but both side of the sliders are bent so I am worried the frame might have taken some damage. It looks like it was a high speed crash from what I can tell. I snapped some photos of the damage. Both tires where flat so there was no trying to ride it. The triple clamp is fucked and the ignition is gone as well. Also, that helmet is not mine and looked bad.

I woke up today to find my motorcycle gone. It was a 2010 CBR600rr orange and black. License plate 20R4627. It was on 2nd Ave between Geary and Anza between 12:30am and 11am.

Any information would be amazing.

I'll keep my eyes peeled but there's no sense in covering the license plate at this point.

I'm glad they have somebody in custody as well.

I have seen people post the radio logs, I think, when people ask about accidents. I wonder what happened?

I've got an '07 and I'm hesitant to take it to SF for the work day because of exactly this. Did you have any special locks on it that they broke or did they just mess up your ignition switch?

Fixed the link.

My insurance is picking the bike up and then I will find out the next steps. I assume it is going to get evaluated for repairs and then they are going to either tell me it is totaled or that it will be fixed. Tomorrow I will find out more.

Damn it thieves SUCK. I just hope all is rectified for you one way or the other and I hope DB thief is quite injured and makes restitution in many ways for this.
