Anybody bother to watch the "Presidents at War" show last week? Overall, I thought it was a decent show, but I certainly did a double-take about 3/4 of the way through the first episode. They were talking about how Eisenhower had learned valuable lessons in North Africa and how the invasion of Italy was going to be more successful - then they showed some film clips of bombing runs to soften up the German defenses and they actually showed a quick clip of a B-52 dropping it's load! I know the B-52 has been around for decades, but REALLY?

I see that shit all the time. I hear sound bites of airplanes and helicopters that are completely wrong or the show cuts to an aircraft interior and then cuts to an exterior shot of completely different aircraft.

I caught that too.
Following week part of Johnson admin about driving North Vietnam back to the negation table with rolling thunder bombing. And Nixons time under a month long daily bombing on Boganvilla.

My favorite was on an episode of "Handmaid's Tale" where a limo was being escorted by BMW motos.

As the limo got closer you could clearly hear the motorcycles.

I guess to give the scene more "gravity" they used Harley recordings for the modern BMWs! :laughing

The bit on the show referred to about PT109 led me to think that the "vigilant" crew out on their own wasn't so "vigilant" as that Japanese destroyer sliced the PT boat in half!
