Aut Agere Aut Mori
If you don't know what pre-lock means these probably aren't for you, if you do then feast your eyes on the beauty of an era when craftsmanship and quality meant more than profits.
New S&W 686-1
S&W 629-4
S&W 586 (no dash)
All three pistols are in San Luis Obispo and can not be shipped.
First off the new 686-1 was originally purchased by my uncle for home protection and he fully admitted to me that he's never fired it. I've owned it for the last eight years and also haven't fired it. It comes with everything original as-new: box, pamphlets, and tools. This .357 is mint, a real beauty. $900
Next is the 629-4. This pistol has less than 50 rounds of .44mag through it, timing and lockup are perfect and it's an absolute nail driver. Included are the soft case, original grips, and the fancy bleached walnut pictured. $800
Lastly is my favorite, and one I'll probably regret selling, the first version of the Smith and Wesson 586 from 1981 with a 6' barrel. This pistol has the best trigger I've ever felt and can drive tacks from 50 yards. Hands down the best .357 revolver of its kind with perfect timing and lockup as well as unblemished bluing and the original combat grips. Soft case included. $1000
