SOLD
Well, the new bike bug has struck again and I want to change it up, so I'm selling my WR250X.
The bike:
- 6,800 miles (will increase as it's my commuter)
- Clean title in my name
- Always garaged/parked indoors at night
- No crashes, offroad riding, jumps or trackdays (used primarily as a commuter). I did putt around the Stockton track once.
- Had a couple drops in the garage, but no cracked plastics (it's a dirt bike, it doesn't care)
- Registration paid till Nov 2017
Modifications
- Acerbis supermoto front fender, headlight and plastics
- DRC LED turn signals and tail tidy
- LED flasher relay to slow down flash rate
- Protaper handlebars
- BikeMaster mirrors
- Zeta aluminum quick turn throttle tube
- ASV brake lever
- RSC ball bearing clutch lever and perch
- eBay Acerbis Rally Pro knockoff handguards
- HealTech gear indicator
- IMS 3.0 gallon tank
- SeatConcepts 1" taller seat
- Airbox flapper mod and door mods
- Graves AIS delete
- NoToil air filter
- Delta Barrel4 full exhaust
- PowerCommander V, dyno tuned by NorCal cycles
- DRC exhaust heat shield (I kept melting my pants on the header :laughing )
- Galfer stainless steel brake lines front and rear
- Galfer sintered ceramic brake pads front and rear
- Yamaha R6 rear master cylinder
- Zeta DRZ400SM rear brake clevis
- T-Rex axle and frame sliders
- Graves peg sliders
Maintenance
- Oil and filter changed every 3k miles, last done at 6,500 miles
- Pilot Street tires at 1,500 miles (rear is starting to flatten ever so slightly but there is still a ton of tread left - probably another 4-5k of commuting)
- New spark plug installed while dyno tuning ~2.5k miles ago
Extra bits and pieces
- Second RSC ball bearing clutch lever
- Stock clutch lever and perch
- Stock seat
- Stock exhaust
- Stock fuel tank
- Battery tender
The bike has been flawless and runs at 80 mph all day. I just want something different, and want to get a dirt bike. This one is too nice for me to want to take offroad, so I'd rather sell it and get something cheap to tool around on. I rode to Reno and back (600 miles) in one day and the seat didn't kill my butt at all and the bike didn't skip a beat.
Asking $5300 OBO. Test rides with M1 and cash in hand. Thanks!
P.S. sorry for the wall of text.
P.S.S. Pitbull stand not included.
