It's snowing ash here where I live in the East Bay. Sky was still orange when I took photo, camera AI corrected colors.

I was trying to take pictures of the sky and camera AI was correcting the colors also. Upsets me that I can't change settings or anything for the camera to act any different.

I got freaked out in the morning yesterday because it was super dark for the longest time... we did get some orange sky.. but not to the degree of SF. It was grey/orange here and dark. Snowing ashes. I looked at all the clocks to see what time it was.. I thought it was me.

Freaky outside... is this what the green house effect looks like???

It is ash falling, which tells me the air quality sucks even though the smell of burning is not much.

I have also had a headache, I swapped my central air filter and it went away today

Looks like we're stuck with the smoke for a while. The smoke is interfering with the weather pattern that usually brings ocean air over the Bay Area - inland areas are staying cool because of the smoke, so the onshore flow can't develop.
