Snow in El Dorado Hills

To those further up Highway 50, this isn't a big deal, but in El Dorado Hills (~20 miles east of Sacramento) at 800', it is a bit unusual.

I get a laugh out of the kids who steal the letters off of the big sign on 50 leaving El Do do Hills. Not as good as 120 close to Yosemite where they tape over the end of the B in Buck Meadows.

Up near Oroville there is a road called Lunt Rd. People tend to add a little duct tape to one letter from time to time.

On a similar note, did you know that the toothbrush was invented in Oroville?






















Had to be. Anywhere else they would have called it a teethbrush.
