Had a great time at Streetiron 2017, here are some photos.

Group Photo, the Magnificent 7 + 1. Cuz Mystico rode like a comet, he would blaze past and disappear for a while, only to reappear sometime later:

Camp BARF before everyone else got in. I got one of the last trees available and it turned out to be the same tree as last year.

You can tell CJ wasn't there:

Rise and shine, BARF camp full of riders getting ready to go:

Heading down towards Clear Lake on Bartlett Springs Rd w/ the mighty Power Ranger Drew:

Lunch Stop (at 10:30 so it was more like brunch) was a gas station w/ a food truck:

By noon we were in Willits enjoying AC and ice cream.

Funny... I was literally just starting a new thread for this topic. You beat me to it! I'll upload mine this evening.

Useful idiot
I have a few pics. As usual, I failed to stop and take more than a handful of pics. I really need to get better about that.

From the ride up to Fort Bragg:

I paid the price for going to bed early on Saturday. I slept like crap on Friday and was out cold before 10pm in Fort Bragg.

Found the culprit in the morning. He looked a little rough, but still managed a victory dance.

TWT and I created our own ride. It was not the Sheetiron or Streetiron but the Cheetiron, as we created our own route, as many did. After Nice on Saturday we headed South on 29 to Cow Mountain. After Cow we took Low Gap road to Comptche for a popsicle, then on to Fort Bragg. Fort Bragg never fails to deliver and neither does CJ. A run down to Safeway at midnight sounded like a great idea as we were hungry again. No longer thirsty, if you understand what I'm saying :teeth, but hungry. Cheesy Puffs, Nacho Cheese Doritos and breaded Mozzarella sticks heated and served directly from the glass turn table in the motel room microwave were the fare for the late night munchies. High five to Motel 6 for keeping that thing clean. It could have been bad. :bigbarf

On Sunday we headed up the coast for 15 miles or so, so we could sharpen the knobbies on highway one :teeth:ride:thumbup, then headed for Sherwood Rd. Sherwood was very passable and relatively dry except for a some mucky ruts and a mudslide. After that we headed back to the barn to packup and get out of dodge.

It was great to see all of you! I wish we had more time out there!

I saw this outside after a very innocent route chart and map study session w/ CJ and Daniel :gsxrgrl

The mighty KLR650 that conquered Cow Mountain. Rumor has it that it even got a free bike wash later in the day.

Nice pictures!!! Keep 'em coming!

Tom, TWT's video really gives a good visual about body positioning and how to let the bike move around underneath the rider.

It does, and it can only happen when you are off the seat. Remember when I was talking about body position and moving forward and backwards to move the weight distribution to promote rear wheel steering (slide) or rear wheel traction? I usually do it subconsciously but it is obvious here after I come off the mound of dirt. I move my head out over the front end to help slide the rear a bit and tighten my left turn.

Alex, thank you again for uploading all of the pictures! Sorry I have been such a bum and haven't done it yet.

My seat definitely bruised my ass. Too much sitting--speaking of being a bum. Need one of those fancy seats you bought!
