Unless more people get out and ride, all the parks will close. The numbers of visitors declining at Carnegie as quoted in the article is the result of people not getting out there. I live in SJ and am appalled at how empty parks are here. In SoCal, we rode every weekend at parks full of people in trucks, jeeps, rock crawlers, on quads, on bikes... it is a way of life, a way of life people have to fight for and it takes people being out there to show it is alive.

If you don't want a state run park, then people need to get together and build a track. I got sick of driving 2+hours to places and finally rented land in Morgan Hill. I ride both days for many hours and no one cares.

Get out and ride and exercise your privilege to ride, otherwise it will be taken away in lieu of the desert tortoise or some historic mining town.
