Sears Point kart track NYE

Anyone else planning on heading there? It's a mixed kart/moto day and I have the day off, so I might head out for the first time in way too long.

I'm guessing its because they make more money from their kart program so that gets the premium track time.

Damn I was planning to go to Stockton today but I was replacing my brake pads because the track just gobbles up pads and it's nearly gone and I found out I bought the wrong brake pads. So looks like I am out.

hmm, it's supposed to be awfully chilly. makes me question whether it's worth going.

Saw on Tyler O' Hara's instagram buncha dudes (fast ones) were out there today damn it would have been fun to watch them ride the best seat in the house is on the track!

Haha I went dirtbiking thinking I could save some pads but I wound up using them going down Carnegie's really steep hills =D

damn, guess I should've gone. ended up going on a ride on the street instead because I didn't feel like dealing with slicks in the cold.

Sonoma is far superior to Stockton but either is a great time.

Would be fun to get the old crew from south SJ together for a track day up there! Budman, Stan, Yana, Mortifer, BRP, KTMguy (and many memorable qualified others I'm missing) from the (+/-) 2012 years....I know, we're all rusty, would be fun tho!
