Scott Redding

Any thoughts on how Scott will do on the Factory Duc after replacing Alvaro? I'm wondering if they hired him because he's British although I don't know who else was available for that ride. He seems far too mercurial to be dependable, despite his age. We'll see. Neil Hodgson had to take a step back and then came forward again to win the title in 2003 I believe it was. Redding has a personality that grates on my nerves second only to Cooper Webb in SX. Granted, they would both humiliate me on the race track but still... :x:barf

old and slow
Hopefully he makes waves in the garage like Lorenzo did in MotoGP. Anything making waves in a Ducati racing garage makes me happy.

Not as fast as I look.
Is the Honda deal done? I would like to see an HRC announcement. I liked Redding in Moto2. I believed all his b.s. about the weight disadvantage, and so did DORNA/FIM. They changed the rules. However, he really fell flat on his face in MotoGP and became a bit obnoxious with his finger pointing.

The good thing would be that Chaz would be the #1 rider for Ducati and I bet his results would improve. But he and Redding are pretty big for that tiny frame. However, SuperBikes have become what they are, except for BMW, which still has enough room for a normal slob like me. :party

not Stan
I suspect that Redding is faster than Chaz. but he's going to fit right in with all their racers and the ridiculous level of inconsistency. Redding will prob lose the BSBK 'ship for the same reason.

2wheels good 4wheels bad
I have never ever met a true, genuine Scott Redding fan. Most people are just there to watch the train wreck unfold in realtime
