usually i'm not much of a shopper until the sales come out :laughing

  • 128 gb usb drive $44 ($0.34/GB is good for large capacity thumb drives)
  • 128 gb sd card $62
  • rocksmith 2014 + electric guitar $108
  • blu ray player $53
  • 10oz (big) bag of chips $0.50 (regular price is $4.xx)
  • 4 rolls of paper towels $1.67
  • also bought a suit at macy's last month for $200; think it was 60% off or something like that

they had some good deals on hard drives but i have enough storage so passed.
still looking for a cheap nas. probably the synology ds213j or qnap ts-212p.

bought everything online except the chips and paper towels so didn't have to deal with crowds/parking.

Brass cased .223 for $0.35/round with free shipping and no tax. And a battery charger/tender from Cycle Gear that was more than half off.

Other than that, I didn't really bother.

iPad 32 gig Air and Apple TV with $75 and $25 gift card respectively. Used the $75 card towards the TV unit, both for my mom. Kept the $25 gift card. Bought a Wustoff 7 piece knife set for $270 and a new Jansport bag for myself off Amazon. Also got a 6' fake tree from Home Depot for about $70.

Pissant Squid
Levis.com, 501 Rigid, 12.5oz denim (the extra heavy hard denim, I didn't know they went from 12.5, 11.75, 11.25, 11, 9.5, 9 and 8 oz versions). Original price, $64. Normal sales price at Sears, Macy's, or Penneys, $48, on Friday they were on sale for $28/per. I bought a couple. Another thing. Last pair I bought at Sears, didn't fit the same, and the material didn't feel the same (I always buy the super dark, hard material, they last longer). I started comparing to some older ones, my new ones were made in Egypt. All the older ones that fit right and made of the good material, were made in Mexico. I went back to Sears, and they were made in Egypt, Mexico and Haiti. I think Indonesia also.

They are on sale for 1 more day, 40% off their sale price.
