sbcglobal.net email customers, do you get notification emails from BARF?

Title says it.

In the past sbcglobal was not delivering our emails to their customers. Is this still the case?

EDIT: if your user settings are sent to send you email notifications for PM’s and / or thread updates...do you get these emails from BARF?

Thanks...

no PM notifications from sbcglobal.net.

Thanks!

To receive BARF emails, you would need to have enabled your options to receive emails for thread updates / receiving PM’s. Yours are set to ‘no’.

I’ll update my post to indicate that prerequisite.

I use sbcglobal.net too and I have never gotten a BARF email. The problem may be small however- who besides a few even use sbcglobal.net anymore?

2000 members, 88 logged in within the last 12mo., and we get 2-4 new sbcglobal people a month. For new people, the issue comes with the new account confirmation. They never receive the email and cannot complete the registration process. For current users, they are unable to change their email or password.

Suggest implementing DKIM and/or SPF, as noted in this comment. It may or may not solve this particular problem, but it's definitely a step in the right direction.

I have an sbcglobal address, I can't say I've seen anything from BARF.

Last message I got was a PM notification on 4/5/2015,

It's odd that sbcglobal.net would be special in anyway, Yahoo is servicing the email. That's where I go to get there, it directs me through AT&T for login, but then dumps me back to Yahoo.

So, just odd that Yahoo might work, but sbcglobal.net does not.

Good to know about how many members this affects. I ran into a guy a few weeks back that has an AOL email address - and I thought I was a dinosaur.

ATT does not receive BARF email. Enchanter has a sticky related to that problem somewhere. When I discovered that, I switched my BARF email to a Yahoo address, which does work.

slower would be backwards
Seeing similar sbcglobal.net email delivery issues on another forum, whose mailer is set up for DKIM/SPF correctly as far as I can tell. I'm getting the same complaints about not receiving the registration/confirmation emails.
