Mr. Bad Example
Around 10 am a rider went under a big rig. Be careful out there, folks. :(

(Traffic is backed up from Aromas to Gilroy as of a few minutes ago.)

I rode by that accident in the northbound lane, very sad,the parents were on the shoulder crying and the rider was laying in the road covered by a blanket.
I didn't know at the time it was their son but knew he was somebody to them.
My condolences to the family.

EDIT: Gut wrenching to hear this was a family moto trip with his parents!

get it while it's easy
beautiful child
precocious boy
smiling boy
he loved to play, loved to run
and when he laughed it lit up my world
to watch him grow into a man was akin to watching a mountain rise
love and pride that knows no boundary

from one fierce mother to another - nothing will ever break that bond. it is truly eternal.

rest in peace Steven. my thoughts and prayers are with you, and all who knew and loved you.

and for your mother and father - whatever spiritual path they follow, may the sweet memories of you bring them peace and comfort, and heal their heart. however temporarily out of reach - no child is lost - it's a connection that CAN NOT BE BROKEN. :rose :rose :rose

As Budman said...my god this is just horrible. I can’t fathom the grief those parents must have today and I just hope that with time they’ll see that those moments meant the world to their son and that gives them solace.
