Santa Clara County Parks Strategic Plan Update 2017

Santa Clara County Parks is gathering public input to update their Strategic Plan.

Last time Santa Clara County Parks gathered public input was for land acquisition. We had a large turnout and OHV recreation was the second most requested land use as shown in this report:

There were many of us asking to expand Metclalf back then but according to the thread below I just found out that's a no go. I had no idea, a whole lot of good our input did

There are going to be outreach events, next Saturday the 15th in Morgan Hill and Sunday the 23rd downtown San Jose. They are developing the internet comment thing.

In addition to participating in the online engagement activity, you are welcome to submit comments to County Parks staff at any time using the comment form below.

Events. Visit the Strategic Plan Update table when attending a regional event. The table will provide information as well as opportunities to provide your comments. The first events that will include a Strategic Plan table are anticipated for Spring 2017 and will be posted on the calendar.

Meetings. Attend a public meeting where the Strategic Plan will be presented and discussed. Meetings will include Parks & Recreation Commission (PRC), Housing, Land Use, Environment and Transportation Committee (HLUET), and Board of Supervisors meetings. All meetings will be posted on the calendar.
