Per Bassam's lobbying, I'm going to change the 650 twin stuff so it's one in the morning, one in the afternoon as well.

At that point, I'm done changing things...2 schedules alternating. I won't change the schedule to reflect this until the next round (round 4).

Just curious, why did S.Dinos change groupings? I'm running a 2000 SV and was going to add S.Dino as the third race on Sunday.

Thanks!

There have been long discussions about super Dino and the four waves in their race (500T, formula singles, and 650 prod).

With red flags and issues of lappers it is no suprise.

So going forward the schedule is going to remain the same? :wow Why is this? Last year it was on a roating basis and worked well. Did something change? Please explain the reasoning behind this. Thank you.

BassEm :)

For the record I was hoping we'd be all done in the morning or all done in the afternoon, alternating. One round I'm all packed up by lunch and get to watch my friends race, and another I hang out all day waiting for my races, only to find the pits empty after I'm done.

The reason I wanted one of the 650 races before lunch was that we'd otherwise never get a chance for a lunch-time podium. I'm a novice, so that doesn't really apply to me, but I felt it would be better for the class.

Jason, it's an A/B schedule like last year. I was set to make it one static schedule for the year, but too many people chewed my ear off about "the schedule this/ the schedule that". It's a pretty trivial thing that so many people focus on, but as is always is the case; it's only their races and benefit they're thinking of. So fine, I caved and gave the same schedule we had last season (with a few changes for better flow and bike matching).

Bassem, see above. Most all classes, prod/ SB have a race in the afternoon and one in the morning and as you pointed out with the SV class, that's where I screwed up, putting them only one race apart and both in the afternoon. BTW, the A/B schedules do little more than switch production for SB and vice versa...with a few small class changes. The moral? If you're racing a 600, you're there all day. If you're racing a 750, you're there all day. If you're racing a 1000, you're there all day. If you're racing a twin, you're there all day....

Pretty much, a race day becomes a full day for every round...which is pretty damn fair for everyone.

I can live with that. Thanks for the clarification:thumbup

OOF, last race of the day...you can help me bribe the security guard to keep the gates open late while I finish packing my stuff. lol ;) Well, it helps uphold my reputation, first in, last out.

Hey Mr. President, can you please make the schedule favorable for me only please?? I know its a race WEEKEND, but I just want it to be a race hour. I'm in and our with that time frame! Please?!

Seriously guys, its a race weekend, and we are all bitching about where our races fall in the day? Maybe allocate the whole weekend for a race weekend, rather than half the weekend? Just sayin...

Berto, your doing great! Except seperate those 600 prod and 750 prod classes by a couple more hours please, kthxbai! :teeth

There is more to it then allocating the day. Why not have FP be the last race of the day...oh that's right, everyone is gone and why would you sponsor a class that nobody will watch.

The compliant is if you are always the last race then there is nobody to watch you or promote your sponsors to..just saying.

But I agree...I plan on being there all day...heck I get there Thursday nights!

See you all in a week!!!

Why are all the Fastest groups after lunch and so grouped together? Kinda hard to race more than one class. I don't why it keeps getting changed

I'm not seeing what you're seeing. Many open and 750 classes before lunch and ninjette classes after lunch.

I like the consistent schedule rather than the random lotto schedule of old. It isn't perfect for me, but at least I can plan around it. After I was finally able to curtail my homophobic attitudes I've come to appreciate teh Berto and his ways.
