ROTM meet up?

Reading this forum made me realize how tight knit and supportive this community is.

Its an unfortunate fact that some of us are injured, some recovering, others adapting to new ways of living.

But all of us still share a passion for the sport, hobby and transportation that is motorcycling.

I thought it would be great to hold a get together, nothing fancy, to exchange stories and laughs, support each other in person, and have a coffee/beer whatever.

Those of us with supportive family and friends are lucky, but nobody, not even other riders that are not or have not been on the mend can offer the same sympathy and understanding IMHO.

If anyone is interested please post up where/when would be best for you and if there is good interest I'll post something in events. All barfers welcome of course, injured or not.

I'd happily provide cage rides for those unable to drive.

I'd like to go, but due to numerous physical problems, & lack of endurance, I don't think I could go anywhere unless it was very nearby. Current physical condition since the stroke is best described as "frail."

Due to above, I haven't left the house in months except doc appointments...

!!!! I say this means you are also mending. I'm so sorry to hear about your stroke. I will add you to my heathen prayer list. :love I've seen your contributions here are BARF and you are consistently a sweet pea. :)

Thanks everyone; appreciate the kind thoughts. YEah, I'm ok, just a bit wobbly on me feet, sense of balance gone away, & no endurance. Been trying to walk around the park here but typically don't get very far & have to return home.

Haven't' ridden the bike but a few times last summer; & since have had minor bike issues so can't ride anyway (need f/tire/brakes, $, & a little TLC.) The wifie doesn't want me riding until I get a bit more steady on me feet; she's probably right. I'll get aboard when I'm feeling better. :teeth

Not much anyone can do but thanks offers. I'll be back aboard, just gotta straighten meself & the bike out, then we be ready. :ride
