Reading this forum made me realize how tight knit and supportive this community is.
Its an unfortunate fact that some of us are injured, some recovering, others adapting to new ways of living.
But all of us still share a passion for the sport, hobby and transportation that is motorcycling.
I thought it would be great to hold a get together, nothing fancy, to exchange stories and laughs, support each other in person, and have a coffee/beer whatever.
Those of us with supportive family and friends are lucky, but nobody, not even other riders that are not or have not been on the mend can offer the same sympathy and understanding IMHO.
If anyone is interested please post up where/when would be best for you and if there is good interest I'll post something in events. All barfers welcome of course, injured or not.
I'd happily provide cage rides for those unable to drive.
