Is it summer yet?
Let's say Ron Paul makes a coup at the convention and comes out with the nomination. (The way he's playing the game there's a tiny chance he could pull it off) Where would your vote go then?

Voting R. or D. with the likely candidates truly is throwing away your vote. Where Paul goes, my vote shall follow.

Y u troll so mush :twofinger

The problem is that Washington is infested with trolls. They are supposed to be competent adults capable of handling responsibility and being accountable. Instead, we have a class of self-proclaimed elitists who don't do their jobs and they don't really give a fuck about the people they're supposed to represent. Nor do they give a fuck about tomorrow. They can't even agree to disagree on things. We don't have a republic anymore- we have an epoxy. You mix the two parts together and it hardens into a shapeless blob that doesn't move. These incompetent assholes now think compromise is a dirty word instead of the actual means to get things done. The precious party agenda means more than the people of the United States now. They have spit in the face of America and basically told all of us that we are no longer the most important special interest group out there. The middle class has no lobbyists. Our bureaucrats chase after donors, not work for voters. They are basically well paid hookers with no STD screening.

They recklessly borrow from tomorrow to pay for yesterday. And the clock keeps ticking and the national debt keeps swelling while we're on our way to becoming the next Greece. The national debt is at the 100% of GDP level yet nobody calls it for what it is- fiscal insanity. The top 5 banks have tripled their ownership of financial assets in the past 25 years. Bankers do whatever the fuck they want to and nobody in Washington has the spine to tell them to piss off. Too big to fail has failed, yet they don't do anything about it. Wall Street remains essentially unchanged from the corrupt meltdown factory it was back in 2008, fully capable of repeating history again. No heads have rolled. It's a travesty.

The sheeple don't see the status quo as the massive failure it is because they would rather be entertained than well informed. "Oh, they'll sort it out someday." :rolleyes Voting should be mandatory in the USA because this deal won't work on auto-pilot. Participation is essential if it's going to work and remain successful.

Our country has been sold out for the quick buck. That's why someone like Ron Paul should be in the position to bring about significant change. What's wrong with sound money and smaller government? Nothing. Right now, the clueless circus clowns are trying to solve problems with the same exact shortsighted and autistic thinking that created the problems in the first place.

It isn't going to solve a fucking thing.

Do you really think any ONE person can effect THAT much change ? I want RP to get into Washington just to SCARE the shit out of our government..... who knows, maybe they might even consider doing something FOR the (long term) good of the citizens

I would even vote for RP if he was VP :x

I wouldn't vote.
Both would lead in a dangerous direction.
If someone pointed a gun to my head to make a decision... Ron Paul

greener

The ass is always greener
RP just to give the establishment a slap in the face.
Poor guy would get nothing done, Congress would unite against him.
If he tried to be like previous Presidents and making Executive Findings to get shit done I honestly believe they would somehow impeach the guy.
At least the public would get to see how bad our gov't has gotten as it brazenly removed a sitting president via bullshit machinations.

I'd vote for Ron Paul. You need someone that extreme just to get a little taste of change. If you keep voting for politicians recycled from the same waste pool, then you are willingly contributing to the decline of the integrity of our political system
